What is CBHist.?
CBHist. is a portal created by the Centre for Historical Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Berlin. Here you will find materials on Polish history: sources, studies, images, videos, lesson scenarios, e-books, podcasts, and online exhibitions. We are constantly adding new content. CBHist. is aimed especially at lecturers, teachers, students and pupils, among whom we want to promote an interdisciplinary approach to interpreting the past. Since we are mainly active in Germany, our portal is addressed primarily to a German-speaking audience. We believe, however, that thanks to its availability in three languages – German, Polish, and English – CBHist. will also meet the expectations of history enthusiasts from other countries.
